Sports Trivia Breakdown

There are two types of questions: more obvious sports trivia and obscure Sports Trivia Questions.

For example, an obscure sports trivia question would be something like: Who was second in the Master's Golf Tournament in 2001? The answer is Ernie Els. Only diehard golf fans or sports fans and answer questions they know response.

An obvious question would be something like: Who is all -time leading rusher in the NFL? The answer is Emmitt Smith. Most NFL fans know the answer to this question.

There are thousands and possibly millions Question dark, but not as many as obvious questions. So let's look at some of the obvious questions of the major sports: football, baseball, basketball and hockey. For all these sports records can be broken down in the records of the game, season records and career records.

The phone numbers important for the NFL football is going, by land, and receiving records. Here are three examples of the most important:

Who holds the record for most touchdown passes in a career? Dan Marino, 420

Who has the record for most passing yards in a career? Dan Marino 61361

Who has the record for most touchdowns caught in a race? Jerry Rice, 197

The records are important for basketball points scored and rebounds. There are two main registers:

Who holds the record for most points in a season? Wilt Chamberlain, 4029

Who holds the record for most rebounds in a game? Wilt Chamberlain, 2149

Important phone numbers for baseball in general, treat hitting and pitching. The main categories are batting batting average, hits, RBIs and home runs. Here are two examples of major batting records:

Who holds the record for most hits in a season? Ichiro Suzuki, 262

Who has the record for most homers in a career? Hank Aaron 755

In general, the greatest pitcher according to records of wins, saves, strikeouts and earned run average (ERA). Here are two examples of major Pitching records:

Who has the record for most strikeouts in a game? Tom Cheney, 21 (16 innings pitched in an extra inning game)

Who holds the record for most wins in a season? Old Hoss Radbourn, 59

For the hockey records revolve about the goals scored, points, assists and saves. Here are a few examples:

Who holds the record for goals in a season? Wayne Gretzky to 92

Who has the record for most shutouts in his career? Terry Sawchuk, 103

There are also many records for equipment in all sports. However, most sports trivia questions are based on individual records.

Some records will not last for long, while other documents may fall soon.

We just saw the record for most touchdowns in a season when LaDainian Tomlinson fall broke the previous record. We also saw Peyton Manning set the record for most touchdown passes in a season. This upcoming season, Brett Favre can set a new record touchdown passes in a career.

In baseball, Barry Bonds approaches the homerun record of Hank Aaron. However, the record for most wins in a season probably never be broken.

There are all sorts of sports trivia questions can be asked and there are many sports that can be included. For many of the responses a person would have to be a sports fan and a bit of a history buff.
