This is absolutely ideal for quiz nights and family games. There are so many baseball teams that the stock of baseball trivia is probably never ending. I do not think that there is anyone who would be able to answer all the questions that could be asked on the subject.

In fact, it is not only one subject. There are people who will specialize in knowing facts about the teams. You may think that there cannot be much baseball trivia when it comes to the teams, but you would be wrong. What was the combined weight of the team in 1926 for example? There are some trivia specialists who would be able to tell you exactly what the answer is for their favorite team. (They may be a little insulted about us calling this trivia, however.

You must always consider the fact that your idea of trivia may be someone else’s passion and hobby.) What about uniform numbers trivia? These are great trivia questions. For example, what number did Joe DiMaggio wear in his first rookie season with the Yankees? That is a nice one, because although he was always known for wearing number 5, he actually went out in the number 9 uniform for that first season.

There is some lovely general historical baseball trivia too. Some of this is based around records which have been made and, probably, broken many times since. For example, the first 500 home run club members. The majority of people would know that Babe Ruth started the club with his 500th home run in 1929, but who were the next to join the club?

There are many websites which now give some wonderful Trivia Questions And Answers. These are great if you are planning on having a baseball trivia quiz. You can have a lot of fun by having friends round for the evening and organizing a night of questions. If everyone came with some questions already prepared, you could take it in turns.

Perhaps you could really make a big night of it and invite lots of people round and charge a small fee to enter. You could raise money for charity and have a great time as well as finding out some really interesting facts, which you will probably instantly forget! Questions which have a chance of being answered are always good. Also ones which have a reasonable chance of people guessing the answer to are fun if you are having a trivia quiz among friends.
